Father's Day

It's nice to have a day every year when I can reflect on the ways my life has been blessed by having two wonderful men in my life. Jesse is and has been a great father to our kids. He is so selfless and works so hard to provide for us and spends his spare time playing and laughing with Ty, Morgan and Ryan. They love him so much and light up when he walks through the door every evening. I feel lucky to have Jesse and even luckier to have a man so devoted to his family. For Father's Day, Tyler gave Jesse a stepping stone that he made especially for him at school. He was so excited to give it to him and it's now in a flowerbed in our front yard. Morgan made him a heart magnet for the fridge that has coupons on it that Jesse can redeem from her. One of the coupons says "make Dad's bed" and another says "play with Dad and my dollhouse". Yes, he even sits and plays dollhouse with Morgan and does it with more patience that I do. We love our Dad!

My Dad is another big influence and blessing in my life. He is gentle, selfless and has always been a wonderful and understanding father. He has always been there for me and is supportive, fun and loving. I love you Dad and appreciate everything you have ever done for me. Dad's wish was to spend Father's Day at the park BBQing. We had nice weather and spent the afternoon playing and relaxing. (Sorry Mom, we didn't get you in any of the pictures for some reason.:(

This picture sums up my Dad and his perfect day.
"A can of Pepsi, a full stomach, a sunny day at the park, playing lawn games
with grandkids, relaxing........A Perfect Day!"

I agree you are a lucky girl, Tiff. Tyler is really proud of that stone and what a great picture of him and Jesse. Lots of good pics of that day. It was fun and Dad really enjoyed himself (although he was pretty sore on Monday morning - all worth it he said). Thanks, everyone, for a great family get together.
