It's been pouring down rain the past 2 days and Morgan keeps saying "Isn't summer suppose to be warm & sunny?" Yeah, apparently not in Washington. Tyler's best friend Brady spent the night last night so it kept them occupied inside. The boys slept in a fort they made with Jesse and of course thought that was so cool. 
Today the kids begged me to take them to the park for their annual kidfest even though it was pouring out. We went for a little while after errands and luckily most of it was inside. They had fun making crafts, playing carnival games and getting their faces painted. Even Ryan played a toss game and almost won!

The weather has definitely been strange...three or four days of unbearable heat and then nothing but rain. Feels like October out there! Can't we just get a happy medium? Sunny and 80 degrees would do nicely! :)
That looks like lots of fun. And the face painting is really great. Love that bunny, Morgan. That's a pretty good fort they had to sleep in too. Fun summer days even in the rain!

They moved it inside? I would have taken my kids if I would have known....we were so restless that day. Rain is August stinks!
