We were invited to go on a tour with Tyler's baseball coach who is a Seattle police officer. We met Saturday at the police firing range in Renton and rode down to Seattle in a police van with a couple other families from the baseball team. The kids of course thought that was pretty cool!
Tyler & Officer/Coach Ron

We started at the Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum where the kids dressed up like deputies and we got to see all kinds of old historical things. It was pretty interesting...there is alot of neat history within the Seattle Police Department that I wasn't aware of.
Officer Neil
New Deputies
Working the phones for 911
Old Handcuffs - kinda creepy!
The pistols were a hit with the boys

Breakin' Out of Jail
Following our tour of the museum, we went to the Seattle East Precinct where Officer/Coach Ron works. The kids got to see everything....the roll call room, holding cells, breathalizer room, break room, bunk room, interrogation room and they watched real police videos & sat in the police cars and played with the lights. Fun stuff!

Very interesting tour. I'm sure you were all impressed.
That's awesome! What a cool tour for your kids! Love your son sporting the police gear...Too cute! :)
What a neat opportunity. Love the breaking out of jail picture :)
Great that you got to do that. Coach/Officer Ron did a lot of work to put that together. I know the kids will remember for a long time. Do any of the kids want to be a police officer now??? Great pictures too. (And we got to play with Ryan while you were gone!!!)
