Emma's Special Day

We drove to Bothell on Saturday for my cousin's daughter's baptism. It was a really nice baptism and Emma looked so beautiful in her white dress. Her big brother Bennett gave a really sweet and heartfelt talk along with some other family. Emma was born blind and despite the challenges in her life she is a happy little girl who always has a smile on her face. I could feel the spirit so strongly when I talked to her....it just radiates from her. She was so excited to be baptized. She has truly been a blessing to her family and an inspiration to all that are lucky enough to get to know her. Congrats Emma, we are proud of you!

Following the baptism, we went to a park nearby and had a BBQ and visited while the kids played.

A family friend played some music on the guitar and Emma was in heaven! She LOVES music, especially country music.

A very sweet baptism for a very sweet little girl. And I enjoyed talking to her at the picnic. She came and sat on my lap for quite a while so we could talk and sing a couple of songs. And the picnic was nice so that the older cousins could catch up with each other. So glad the Chris and Tera, et al, came 'home' for this event.

We were so happy that we could share the day with all of you. You all helped make it more special and really created a great spirit for everyone to enjoy.
I can't believe Tyler is next.
