Christmas Eve

We spend Christmas Eve with Jesse's side of the family. We went to his cousin Jamie's house for a big dinner with the extended family and then his sister Darcy's house for the immediate family Christmas celebration. The cousins have a great time tearing into presents together and playing with all their new toys.



On the way home, Tyler was trying to open a toy with his mouth and he lost his second tooth. Well, actually he swallowed it! So not only did Santa come on Christmas Eve, but so did the tooth fairy. Tyler only got $1.75 this time...we figure it's because we didn't have a tooth to leave the fairy....opps!

Even though it was 11pm by the time we got home from Christmas Eve festivities, the kids still wanted to get Santa's goody plate ready. Tyler thought Santa might be tired of cookies, so the kids made him graham crackers with frosting and left celery with ranch dip for the reindeer....I think they were trying to butter him up so he'd leave something good under the tree :0)
